About the House

A quiet house.
A studied craft.

Noble & Hours is a private companionship atelier founded on a simple idea — that presence, done beautifully, is its own kind of luxury. Everything we do flows from that.

Our Story

Founded in a single observation.

In 2019, between a long evening at the St. Regis and a last-minute opening at the Royal Opera, our founder observed something quietly absent from the global luxury landscape. Private aviation could be chartered in hours. A sommelier could be flown from Burgundy. A villa on Lake Como could be opened in a weekend. Yet the one thing that made any of it feel alive — the right company — was treated as an afterthought, or left entirely to chance.

Noble & Hours was born from that gap. We set out to build the companionship equivalent of a great hotel: a small, meticulously curated house of intelligent, articulate, thoughtfully-presented people, engaged on the same standards of professionalism and discretion as any trusted advisor.

Six years later, our circle has grown quietly — by invitation, by reputation, by the testimony of clients who rarely speak of us, and that is precisely how we like it. We have never advertised. We do not intend to.

Our Philosophy

We believe the finest company is like the finest hotel — invisible in its excellence, remembered only for how naturally it receives you, how quietly it anticipates, and how completely it disappears when it is no longer needed.

The Atelier

The few, quietly in charge.

Noble & Hours is run by a small team — a client director in every city, a head of vetting, and a founder who still personally reviews every new introduction. We remain deliberately small. It is our most important luxury.

Elena, Founder
Founder & Principal

Elena A.

Former luxury hospitality executive with seventeen years at two of Europe's most storied houses. Founded Noble & Hours in 2019 after a decade consulting for private family offices.

Margaux, Director of Clients
Director of Clients

Margaux L.

The voice behind every inquiry. Fifteen years in ultra-high-net-worth concierge at a Geneva family office. Speaks five languages. Remembers everything.

Isabella, Head of Vetting
Head of Vetting

Isabella R.

Former talent director for an international modelling agency, later partner at a background-verification firm serving diplomatic and executive clients. Personally interviews every companion candidate.

The Vetting

How a companion becomes part of the house.

Seven stages, approximately four months. We accept fewer than one in twenty-five applicants.

I
Stage One

Private Application

All candidates are either referred by an existing companion or approached directly. Applications are reviewed personally, never by an algorithm.

II
Stage Two

First Interview

A conversation — not an audition. We are looking for fluency, warmth, curiosity, and the kind of self-possession that no résumé can convey.

III
Stage Three

References & Background

Professional references, employment history, and a full background check are conducted by our vetting partner — a firm that also serves diplomatic clients.

IV
Stage Four

Cultural Assessment

Candidates spend an evening with our team at a fine restaurant, a gallery opening, or a private members' club. We observe how they move, listen, and navigate.

V
Stage Five

Wardrobe & Presentation

A session with our in-house stylist. We do not change who anyone is — only ensure they are ready for every context, from black-tie to bistro.

VI
Stage Six

Training Intensive

Three days on protocol, etiquette, and our house standards — including our mandatory discretion training and client-handling guidelines.

VII
Stage Seven

Supervised Engagements

Every new companion begins with a handful of supervised introductions. Only when the team is entirely confident does a companion join the general circle.

Atelier · Without Borders

A New York house, worldwide in reach.

Noble & Hours LLC is incorporated in the State of New York, with its principal studio overlooking Fifth Avenue. From this vantage we move outward — to the cities our clientele inhabits, the cities our companions know intimately, and the cities where culture is still exchanged in person rather than over a screen.

An engagement may begin in Manhattan and finish in Mayfair; a single weekend may pass through three time zones and two passports. Our infrastructure — legal, logistical, linguistic — is built to make those transitions feel like nothing at all.

We do not have offices in every city we serve. We have relationships — with hotels, with venues, with the quiet operators every great house depends on — and a small team that travels with the work.
